children’s project “earth revolving around the sun” (#18)
russ mafia (#3 on Google Germany)
and
Republicans are hotter (I am #47, apparently)
No, no, no, no no.

“It’s hard to argue against cynics - they always sound smarter than optimists
because they have so much evidence on their side.” -Molly Ivins
It seems the news, as of late, has been an amalgam of dismal tragedy, a macabre comedy of life as a farce. Then again, isn’t it always? How dreary. Aww, the sappy-hearted out [...]

I got caught up in a bit of ego and took the liberty of nominating myself for Best New Blog. Forgive me, God.
In the meantime, nominate all your favorites.

It’s interesting how this sleazy money trail of former Republican mega-lobbyist, Jack Abramoff - he of the Indian gambling scandal, the Tom DeLay scandal, the bank fraud scandal, and much much more — touches so many prominent Virginia Republicans. For instance, wouldn’t you just know that Virginia’s own junior Senator, good ol’ “Cowboy George” Allen, [...]

In lieu of an actual blog post I had written before the electricity choked and my computer destroyed my post (and somewhat less importantly, perhaps, my homework), I offer you this:

The first bills for the 2006 General Assembly session are trickling in, including Del. Harry Purkey’s HB 7, a bill to…limit to 12 the amount of bills a member can introduce into the General [...]

I probably shouldn’t be posting from biology class, but I am not quite as enthralled with the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi bodies as it seems?

My day today went thusly:
I witnessed a the beam that goes in between doors at WSHS literally fall down. A kid took it and leaned it against the wall. My school is falling apart.
Today also were the Junior District Orchestra auditions. Being the bonehead, I realized 1) I hadn’t gotten in my registration and 2) [...]

Today was the WACFL II Congress tournament. I suppose today I offer the Student Congress authorship speech I never got to give (ah, mock politics. They adjourned before I was in line to speak.)
Whipped out at 11 PM before the tournament. All that work for nothing. Ah well.
It seems civilization has advanced rather far. We [...]
