Alack, wood carvings as school mascots are vulnerable.
Waynesboro’s first day of school started off with an unpleasant surprise for educators.
The symbolic Little Giant woodcarving, unveiled just this week, has been vandalized, according to police.
The grass surrounding the statute was reportedly still smoldering.
