Senator Barack Obama, 2008 presidential candidate, will be coming to Virginia for two events in the next month:
February 2: Barack Obama will be coming to George Mason University for a rally at the Johnson Center. Doors open at 11:30, Senator Obama is scheduled to speak at 1 PM. I will attempt to ditch chemistry for this. Facebook invite (it’s at a college, of course it will have a Facebook invite) here.
February 17: Barack Obama will keynote the annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner at the Richmond Convention Center. Tickets are $165. I will be missing out this year, since I’m going to the Harvard Invitational.
I, so far, remain uncommitted. Senator Obama receives brownie points for caring about Virginia.

I will be attending the event at George Mason University and I have heard from several other in the blogosphere that they will be in attendance.
